AI answers auditSix kinds of buyer question, three engines, plus six questions about you
Ask an AI for a dialer and it names Nooks and Orum. Ask it to compare you with Apollo and it gives the dialer to Apollo.
28 buyer questions that never mention Amplemarket, 82 answers. You're named in 22. Strong where you lead with LinkedIn and AI agents; nearly absent when a buyer asks for a dialer or contact data, two things you sell.
Your site is cited almost as often as Apollo's. Not on the questions you lose.
Answers citing each domain, out of 82. amplemarket.com is cited when the question bundles channels: LinkedIn, all-in-one, a dialer alongside email. Never on contact data or a dialer on its own. On dialer questions the cited pages are twinsai.com, klenty.com, pipecorn.com, scalelist.com: roundups and rivals' blogs, which is where the dialer story has to land. On the narrower Apollo-alternative questions of 2 Nov, only 1 of 30 web answers cited it (plan).
The price is right everywhere. The dialer goes missing in the comparisons that matter.
Six questions that do name Amplemarket, asked to ChatGPT and Gemini. Gemini also claimed “<3% bounce” and “waterfall enrichment”, which I couldn't verify on your site.
| Question | What it says | Price |
|---|---|---|
| What is Amplemarket?ChatGPT | Outreach is “email and LinkedIn”. No dialer, no deliverability tools, no Duo. | Price right |
| Amplemarket vs Apollo, 30 repsChatGPT | Gives Apollo the “strong dialer” and recommends Apollo for phone-led teams. | Price right |
| Amplemarket vs Apollo, 30 repsGemini | Amplemarket gets “phone tasks”; the dialer goes to Apollo. Calls it a signal-to-sequence layer, not a database. | Price right |
| What is Amplemarket?Gemini | Data, agents, email, LinkedIn, parallel dialer, deliverability: all there. | No price given |
| How much does it cost?ChatGPT | $600 a month, 2 users, annual. Mentions Duo; no dialer. | Price right |
| How much does it cost?Gemini | $600 a month, annual, 2-user minimum. | Price right |
Pages and listings, not budget.
Each has the number that says whether it worked, from the same prompts run again.
- Put the dialer in the vs-Apollo verdictBoth ChatGPT and Gemini hand the dialer to Apollo in a head-to-head. Add “native parallel dialer” as a row in the vs-Apollo verdict table and as an FAQ answer in its schema: the page already ranks first on Google, so it's the page answers read.Measure: Re-run the two vs-Apollo prompts weekly: dialer credited to Amplemarket, yes or no.
- Win the dialer question, not just the bundleYou're named when a buyer asks for a dialer alongside sequences (ChatGPT, both runs, once first). Ask for a parallel dialer alone and the answer is Nooks and Orum. Those answers cite twinsai.com, klenty.com, pipecorn.com, scalelist.com, mostly vendors’ own lists; pitch /dialer to the independent ones AI also cites (mrrnerds.com, topparalleldialers.com) and publish a dialer comparison of your own.Measure: Parallel-dialer share: 2 of 12 today.
- Get deliverability into the pages ChatGPT readsPerplexity names you in 2 of 3 deliverability answers (4th and 7th), Gemini in 1 of 3 (2nd). ChatGPT names it in 0 of 6: its answers cite zeliq, smartlead, expertlayer and guideflow roundups, and the answers built from them leave Amplemarket out. Get into those roundups and publish a deliverability comparison of your own.Measure: Deliverability share: 3 of 12, 0 of 6 on ChatGPT.
- Decide on data before spending on itYou rank first on Google for “b2b contact data provider”, yet 0 of 12 contact-data answers name you; Apollo, ZoomInfo and Lusha are in all 12. Publish a coverage benchmark (EU and US, emails and mobiles) that roundups and AI answers can quote.Measure: Contact-data share: 0 of 12 today.
- Run the same 28 prompts every weekAnswers change with every model release. Same prompts, same engines, logged out: share of answer per intent becomes a line on the growth scorecard, next to branded search.Measure: One number per intent per week, published to the team.
How this was asked.
Every answer, with its full text and sources, is in the raw data.
- chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai and gemini.google.com, logged out, from a Portuguese IP, a fresh browser per prompt, English, cookie banners rejected. Prompts are mine and never name Amplemarket, except the six in section 03.
- ChatGPT: default model, two runs per prompt. Perplexity: default search, one run. Gemini: Flash-Lite as shown logged out, one run.
- Signed-in check, same day: Gemini 3 (free tier) on the ten all-in-one and Apollo-alternative prompts. It named you in 4 of 5 and 1 of 5, against 3 of 5 and 0 of 5 logged out. The bigger model moves you up a little, only into 1 of 5 switch answers. Raw.
- “Named” counts the answer text and its sources. ChatGPT's sources are every page attached to the answer; Perplexity's only the citations on screen. Small samples: read a 2 of 12 as “rarely”, not as 17%.
